9.1.11 summer photo of the day

Today has been a long day, 8am take off time and an all day adventure in NoCal. We flew to SFO to visit some friends who moved away this past year. we picked up Kirk from work and hit the road, heading north. Our destination tonight is Pt. Reyes and the town of Inverness. I love it here, it is one of my favorite places in the country. We got here just in time to pick up some provisions and check into the motel. Grabbed a quick beer then headed off to dinner. Our room has a private deck that looks out onto Tomales Bay. This place is full of fresh and local seafood ad esp. oysters. We found this old wreck of a boat out behind the grocery store. Tomorrow we are heading into the park for a look around and then headed back to the city, San Francisco, for a late dinner. Not sure what the rest of the weekend will bring, but I am already happy!

    Peter,
You are one fantastic photographer! I’ve shot that boat dozens of time and never have gotten the grat composition you did. Enjoy the oysters. Try them Bar B Q’d. Wish Les, a Happy Birthday from us and keep posting the photos.
