I have always been of the mind that your cell phone is NOT a camera. I still believe that. I hate seeing folks using their phones to capture precious moments, knowing that those photos are not of great quality and will probably never even get downloaded. But, I also believe that the best camera you have is the one that is with you. Having said that, I am guilty of using my Iphone as a camera. I have the newest 4s, which is about the best you can get with your phone and this year I found myself using it quite a bit. I still carry my big camera most of the time and many of the photos that I take with the Iphone, I also take with the 5dMII. I have been quite taken with the Instagram app. It is not the filters that I love, it is the sharing capabilities. I love being able to tweet, post to my blog or post to my facebook page a photo of what is happening right now. Many times the photo says a whole lot more than I could. It reaches a larger audience and most of my friends and followers love it. I have been told more than a few times that people really appreciated following Lesley and I on our trip to Italy. I highly recommend Instagram and its community, you can find and follow me here – followgram.me/ptpix
