New client tear sheet

I picked up a new client over the Memorial Day weekend. Road and Track made the call to see if I could run up to the Charlotte Motor Speedway for a quick gig. They found me through my Wonderful Machine listing. Usually I try to stay as far away from the speedway during race week as I can, but this gig came with a parking pass! The shoot was for a section story called ‘So, What do you Do?”. They were featuring a NASCAR spotter named Mike Calinoff. Mike is a very fun and funny guy and he tweets like it is his job! ( 17+K tweets and over 15k followers! ) CHeck him out here @MikeCalinoff Our shoot time was to be in the late afternoon for the better light and when I got there and finally found Mike the practice schedule had changed some so we only had about 45 minutes for the shoot, he was still working! We worked quickly and had some fun on top of the grandstand, what a view, and made a few cool shots! Here is what they used on the web, I have not seen the print version yet. It was a pleasure working with the Art Dept. at Road and Track and with Mike, I certainly hope we can work together again!
